Richard III was a Dominant and Authoritative Ruler; The Protector of the Plantagenet Line, against the Rival House of Lancaster. Richard stood nothing to gain by allowing Henry to usurp the Throne; ( Almost certainly as the result of Treachery / See Henry Percy. ) And has been maligned by Protestant Historians ( Shakespeare ) as a Monster and Murderer to suit their Socio-Political Bias !
